We were at the market last week, just ran out of time to post it to the blog. This week we'll be at the market with brocolli, lettuce, kale, beets, carrots, asparagus and snowpeas. This will be the last of the asparagus this season. The lettuce and snowpeas are slowing down until the next crop comes in. Nice warm temps - 100+ in the hoophouse. Reminds us of Kansas.
Nice soaking rain shower yesterday afternoon. Got a bit noisy in the hoophouse as we were planting tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, basil and snapdragons.
At the market today: snow peas, spinach, carrots, beets, romaine and buttercrunch lettuce, kale, pac choi. broccoli is looking good for next week. Let's see if I can remember what all is coming in...asparagus, baby beets, sugar pod peas, pac-choi, kale, spinach, romaine and buttercrunch lettuce. I think that's it. It will get to be a longer list in the next few weeks when the broccoli starts coming in. And there is always the ever popular fruit tarts. Come to Sault F
